Children's ABC Book; Day 1: A

Hello, again! It has been months since my last post. I apologize for this. However, we will begin to move on again.

For the next month, your children are going to dabble in some of their creative juices. You should join too, because this one is fun.

The American alphabet consists of 26 letters, A-Z. Every day for the next 26 days, the letter for that day will be the inspiration for our experiment or fact. Here we go:

Today is Day A. Today we will have some fun with this letter. Find a sheet of paper and a pencil or pen. Brainstorm for a moment about the different things that start with A. For example, perhaps "Apple," "Awesome," or "Aviator Owl" will work. (The Aviator Owls are a kid-friendly bunch of owls). Write these things down and choose your favorite. Now, somewhere on your page draw that word out. (If you want to use "apple, " you should draw an apple). If you want to get really creative, write "apple" around the picture you drew in small letters. That way, it will look really cool! After this, you can find all sorts of different items around the house you can do the same thing with.

Hope you enjoy!

Today's Fun Fact: An inch (2.5 centimeters) of rain water is equivalent to 15 inches (38.1 centimeters) of dry, powdery snow (High Tech Science).

For an example, this is a picture I did on a computer of a dancer.
